My own issue of panic attacks led me into my work as a therapist. I discovered that therapy was, for me, the answer to gaining control over my symptoms.
I have been in private practice for over 9 years and have worked in the NHS.
My training includes a degree in counselling and psychotherapy from Warwick University;
Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP and coaching from Central England College; Eft practitioner training (tapping).
In addition to my practice I work voluntarily counselling young people within a further education college.
I provide a warm and accepting therapeutic setting which I consider to be necessary for a positive outcome.
I believe every person is unique and a holistic approach is essential.
I am a registered member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and I am registered with the CNHC (the Department of Health recommend that G.P.'s only use CNHC registered clinicians).
Clinical hypnosis is a fast and effective tool which I only use within my therapy practice if my client chooses to. Because I am a trained counsellor as well as a clinical hypnotherapist I can assure you are in safe hands. I realise hypnosis is not for everyone so if it's not for you please go to my psychotherapy page
Often in life we become stuck. Situations or relationships are not as we would like or for some reason we are not functioning as well as we could be. My role is to understand how it really is in your shoes, understand the challenges you are facing and work along side you therapeutically so you can move forward with your life..
Please call or email me anytime or alternatively call the clinic on 0121 705 3509.
